Summer Camps - 2019

 

June 24-28, 2019

SESSION ONE: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

For athletes entering grades K-8th in the fall!

Don't miss EFCC's summer sports camp for kids entering grades K-8 this fall. Camp offers four sports choices, as well as several new electives classes. Kids may register for morning or afternoon classes, or a combination of both and bring a lunch for the break.

See below for offerings for each session, as well as cost and age limits. All programs will be held on campus at Emmanuel Faith.

Basketball Cost: $125
EFCC Family Center (Gym)
For grades K-8
Basketball will be taught by Coach Brooks Barnhard, a former professional player, who will lead them through drills plus individual and team competitions.


Football Cost: $125
EFCC Field
For grades K-8
Football drills and skills will be taught by Coach Jon Goodman, Community Sports Director and Head Football Coach.


Video/Photo Cost: $100
Children's Center, Room 26
For grades 4-8
Learn how to shoot photos and videos and edit highlights by teacher, Joel Williams. No equipment needed.


Lego Building Cost: $75
Children's Center, Room 25
For grades K-2
Come build awesome creations with Faith Kids team member, Krissy Bartels! Includes STEM activities, a water day, and lots of Lego-themed fun. Participants will take home their own Lego set on the last day.

SESSION TWO: 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Volleyball Cost: $125
EFCC Family Center (Gym)
For grades 2-8
Volleyball will be taught by Rebecca Bouchillon, a collegiate volleyball player.


Soccer Cost: $125
EFCC Field
For grades K-8
Collegiate player, Jo Ann Goodman, will teach soccer 101 in collaboration with local high school players and coaches.


Sports Medicine: $100
Children's Center, Room 24
For grades 4-8
Certified athletic trainer, Kaitlin Vexler, will teach the importance of recognizing concussions, heat stroke, and how to treat basic sports injuries.


Lego Building Cost: $75
Children's Center, Room 25
For grades 3-6

Musical Theater Cost: $100
Children's Center, Warehouse
For grades 3-8
Musical Theater director of 20+ years and current musical theater teacher at CAHS, Jennifer McCormick will help students strengthen their performance skills.  No experience required.  If you love to sing, dance and act, then this class is for you!
